I'm back? Not really.

I actually planned to write a post last week since I was on a break, but well, I got so caught up with celebrating Eid ul Fitr with my family and friends, that I forgot to write one. I'm already back in university now, and oh how I wish I can go back home again.

But sadness put aside, I only have a few weeks till my exam on August (more holidays after that yeay!). I haven't started revising the 3 subjects that I took for this semester, and there's still a huge pile of reports and assignments to be finished. Even though I'm almost eighteen already, I still suck in managing my time. Still the lazy me.

So, I've decided to change to a new theme. Which is, well, the simplest theme I've ever used for my blog. I'm satisfied with the result, because my new header is cuter (ehe) and everything looks so much cleaner. It's easier to focus on the posts too because there's literally nothing on the sidebar, except when the navigations are clicked of course. What do you think about this new theme? Is it better, or the previous one is better?

Before

After

I really have not much to say, other than the fact that I might not be able to update much (repeat: I suck in managing my time) especially on reviews. I need plenty of quiet time to write a review, and it's getting harder for me to get that due to the assignments that I have to do. But I'll try to write the reviews for Time After Time by Tamara Ireland Stone and All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven soon. No promises though.

I'm currently torn in between reading Finding Paris (e-book) or A Court of Thorns and Roses next. One reason is because I don't have much free time, and another reason is because I need to write the reviews for the two books mentioned earlier first before I start reading a new book. Can someone please manage my time for me?

It's getting late now (what am I even doing, staying up late until 3AM when I have a class at 8AM ;;;), so I guess that is all for now. To all students reading this, please, manage your time well and get enough sleep! Don't become like me ha ha ha

Thanks for even reading this drabble, by the way.

Till next time ♡ Love, Humaira

  1. I'm glad you're back Aera! I really like your new blog layout, being a minimalist myself. And yes, your header is so much cuter than the last one!

Time management is really essential and I hope you will be happy always! <3

  2. I actually like both, before and after, layouts. I can't say which one I think is better but I can say that BEFORE looks super cute and there's a lot of pink going on there ha ha and AFTER looks super neat and simple, it's pleasant to the eyes. Well, both of them are.

About your header, it's really nice. Did you made it yourself? I love it!

  3. @Lix - I'm glad I'm back too, I miss blogging so soo much! Aww thank you Lix! I've always wanted to have a minimal design for my blog, so I finally did it. It looks good too, thanks to the header too I guess.

Yeah I know that, I just hope I can learn how to manage time better soon, because I really need it. Thanks again for dropping by, Lix. I miss you!

  4. @Ardini - Thanks a lot! It's rare that people leave positive comments like this on my blog, I really wish every other readers can be more open like this. I'm glad you liked the new design too, because I was worried if it looked too plain. But I guess you're right, it's pleasant to the eyes (I'm too old to use too much pinkness lol)

Thank you, and yes, I made the header myself. I always make my own headers because I don't think anyone can suit my taste (since my taste frequently change from time to time). Why make someone else do it when I can do it myself, right? And I'm pretty satisfied with this one too :)
